About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Servicer to join our team at NEBULA APPLIANCES INC. As an Appliance Servicer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Electrical Appliances: Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to identify faults and repair electrical appliances and components.
  • Prepare Written Estimates: Prepare written estimates of repair costs for customers.
  • Read Blueprints: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate repairs.
  • Advise Customers: Advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment.
  • Use Specialized Equipment: Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
Work Environment

As an Appliance Servicer, you will work in an urban area with public transportation available. You will have access to parking and work a permanent schedule with 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and a team player.
