Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with unpredictable outcomes, working independently and collaboratively with the healthcare team.
- Enhance the quality of life for patients and their families by providing expert care and support.
- Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and maintain clinical expertise in cardiac care nursing, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices.
- Participate in hospital committees and research projects to contribute to the advancement of cardiac care.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Recent experience in cardiac care nursing or a related field, with a strong understanding of cardiac care principles and practices.
- Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a patient-centered model of care.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medications, treatments, and interventions used in cardiac care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
