Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Addiction Worker to join our team at St. Joseph's Care Group. The successful candidate will provide support and guidance to individuals struggling with addiction, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
- Collaborate with community agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

- 2-year Diploma in a post-secondary Human Services field
- 1 year working experience or specialized training in addictions
- Working knowledge of addictions and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to work any shifts as requested
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Standard First Aid certificate
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Class G driver's license and adequate insurance
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Condition of Employment:

- This position is conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC)
- Offers of employment are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption
