Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Naval Architecture Technologist or Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing 3D models, engineering drawings, and arrangement drawings for client vessels. You will also play an active role in applying your technical knowledge to research existing vessel documentation, review approved engineering changes, and confirm accuracy of legacy documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Produce 3D models of various equipment, foundations, piping systems, and structures for client vessels.
  2. Develop engineering drawings, including parts, assemblies, and installations, as well as arrangement drawings, such as general arrangement, firefighting keyplans, and piping diagrammatics.
  3. Apply technical knowledge to research existing vessel documentation, review approved engineering changes, and confirm accuracy of legacy documentation.
  4. Manage engineering changes, including modifications to ships, systems, and equipment configurations, and changes to configuration information.
  5. Conduct market research, develop option analysis reports, determine system requirements, perform calculations, develop impact assessment reports, and write specifications to deliver client solutions.
Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Engineering Technology Diploma in Naval Architecture. Experience in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and engineering design/integration projects, preferably in the marine industry, is essential. P. Eng is considered an asset, as is experience with Shipconstructor. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are also required.
