Job Summary

PAL Technical Services is a leading provider of aerospace and defense design, development, and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, line maintenance, heavy maintenance checks, and modifications. We are seeking a skilled Utility Personnel to join our team in Halifax, NS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ramp servicing and ground power starts of company aircraft.
  • Assist with aircraft towing operations and hangar maintenance.
  • Conduct general housekeeping duties and maintenance workshop tasks related to aircraft parts and materials.
  • Deliver and pick up aircraft freight and assist with aircraft grooming services.
  • Refuel ground support equipment and perform weekly inspections of ground and hangar equipment.
Requirements
  • High School completion.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated to perform and complete assigned tasks.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safe work environment standards and procedures.
  • Willingness to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the aircraft environment.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods and lift weight up to 50lbs.
  • Availability for shift work, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to obtain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identification Card), AVOP - Type D (Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit), and Security Clearance.
