Job Title: Truck Driver - Cargo Transport Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at SAHI EXPRESS LTD. as a Cargo Transport Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Commercial driver's license (CDL) an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and overtime required. The position is physically demanding and requires repetitive tasks.
