Saba Foods Restaurant is seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating costs, and preparing high-quality dishes for our customers.
About the RoleWe are looking for a professional with 2 years of experience in the food industry, who possesses excellent cooking skills and attention to detail. As a Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus that meet quality standards, taking into account customer preferences and dietary requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Estimate the cost of supplies and food items, ensuring that expenses are minimized while maintaining high-quality dishes.
- Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in the food industry.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Skills: Excellent cooking skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive Salary: $55,000 per year.
