Product Manager, Skates

- Market Expert: Gain a deep understanding of regional markets, build a strong retail network, and provide insights on market dynamics that drive success. Lead individual information collection and coordinate marketing department research areas. Establish a central database for competitive monitoring. Use influence and acumen to guide projects in the right direction.
- Create Global Product Lines and Marketing Briefs: Guide designers and developers in creating skate products by identifying consumer and retailer needs in various segments. Collaborate closely with the brand marketing manager and guide them on areas to focus communications to maximize impact and create the best product story.
- Lead Product Presentations and Content Knowledge: Direct the creation of content and share information in an engaging and adaptable format for different audiences (executive team, internal sales team, buyers/retailers, floor staff, customer service).
- Margin Optimization: Direct product pricing and assortment strategies, navigate cost structures to optimize value for CCM, clients, and consumers.
- Financial Scenarios and Forecasts: Analyze, identify, and present different product line scenarios that capitalize on opportunities and maximize return for CCM's business plan.
- SKU Analysis: Continuously examine the global SKU offer, evaluate trends, and assess possibilities for expansion or reduction.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field (an MBA or master's degree is an asset).
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the retail sector is an asset.
- Ability to synthesize market reactions and client feedback.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, experience using concrete data to support hypotheses and develop profitability analyses.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects.
- Ability to influence and lead stakeholders.
- Experience working with diverse groups to manage and inspire change.
- Bilingualism (French and English) *This requirement is mandatory since in this role, you will interact with clients, partners, and/or foreign subsidiaries on a regular basis both verbally and in writing.
