About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Hi-Flyer Food (Canada) Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Handling: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, replenish condiments and supplies, and package take-out food.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient food service operation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English (fluency required).
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
