We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Director to join our team at Gerhard Buchner Private Household. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and care.
Responsibilities- Implement infection control procedures to prevent the spread of illnesses within our household.
- Select and purchase equipment and supplies necessary for effective housekeeping operations.
- Plan and coordinate the activities of our housekeeping staff, including scheduling duties and assigning tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Serve as a supervisor to our housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with our maintenance and repair services team to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Coordinate in-house laundry services to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required; however, post-secondary education or certifications in hospitality or related field would be an asset.
- A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
This position requires a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, as well as a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods may be necessary.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
