Job Title: Foreman

Job Summary: Clark Builders is seeking a skilled Foreman to oversee trade employees on a large project in Yellowknife. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of trade employees, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning work schedules and determining workforce requirements, material quantities, and equipment needs.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Clark Builders safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify hazards and correct any unsafe conditions.
  • Lead QA/QC checks and inspections.
  • Lead site-specific orientations and tailgate meetings.
  • Draft and submit RFI's.
  • Assume control of the site if the Superintendent is off-site.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson trade certification.
  • 8+ years of construction experience.
  • Valid first aid certificate an asset.
  • Valid Fall Protection, CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015 is an asset.
