At JS Hayer Plumbing & Heating Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Plumbing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our plumbers with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, transporting tools and materials to and from work areas, and helping tradespersons and apprentices as directed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and possess excellent manual dexterity. You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing repetitive tasks and working in a team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Transporting tools and materials to and from work areas
  • Assisting tradespersons and apprentices as directed
  • Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required shape and size
  • Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
