Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Realstar Management. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Conduct daily visual inspections of mechanical, HVAC, and sprinkler systems to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Respond to and address resident requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and municipal regulations, including water testing and fire safety standards.
  • Supervise service providers and contractors to ensure quality work and adherence to company standards.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Background in residential property management or related business experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent management skills to coach, train, and motivate staff.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs and aptitude for mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated cleaning skills and ability to lift and push heavy objects.
