Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Planner to join our team at our Rockwood manufacturing hub. As a key member of our production planning team, you will be responsible for introducing new components and technologies into production, developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, and working with internal and external contacts to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Process Optimization: Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Production Planning: Plan and coordinate production activities to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
