Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and/or performing engineering designs to meet client needs and ensure compliance with company and professional engineering and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, coordinate, and/or conduct complex design/engineering assignments on multiple projects.
- Monitor work schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with technical specifications and company standards.
- Provide technical support and training to less experienced engineers, trainees, and designers.
- Check, review, and approve application drawings.
- Visit construction project sites and conduct inspections as required.
- Collaborate with sales representatives on engineering designs that utilize Aluma products.
- Provide backup support to senior engineers and engineering managers.
- Occasional travel to branch offices to provide engineering support.
- Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with a valid professional engineering license.
- Full membership in a recognized professional engineering association.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of postgraduate working experience in a relevant field, preferably in shoring, forming, and access scaffolding applications or similar products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English to convey facts and information clearly.
- Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD software and MS Office.
- Good working knowledge of structural analysis software.
- Commitment to professional career development.
- Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively with sales personnel and others to provide customer-focused engineered solutions.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively, work overtime as required.
