Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.

Job Summary:

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist will perform all required MRI examinations as prescribed by physicians or radiologists in accordance with relevant protocols and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Magnetic Resonance Technology or related field.
  • Registered in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in all aspects of Magnetic Resonance Procedures.
  • Working knowledge of RHPA and standards of practice for related field.
  • Able to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.
  • Able to work independently and co-operatively as part of a team.
  • Recent satisfactory performance appraisal and attendance record.
  • No recent disciplinary events.
