Job Title: HR Coordinator

Canada Goose Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Coordinator to join our team. As an HR Coordinator, you will provide generalist support for our teams in various areas, including employee relations, labour relations, health and safety, compensation, recruitment, orientation, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the HR Business Partner with health and safety programs to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • Work with Managers to ensure job descriptions continue to be relevant.
  • Administer employee perk programs.
  • Represent Canada Goose at job fairs, recruiting events, and open houses.
  • Track and administer referral bonus program and assist in the composition and distribution of reward statements.
  • Provide new operations employees with a comprehensive onboarding program to enable a smooth transition into CG.
  • Prepare internal HR-related documents, including employment, promotion, and transfer letters, termination forms.
  • Handle and manage CNESST claims, facilitate leave of absence, and safe return to work program.
  • Assist with safety and health programs that support the well-being of employees in the facility through industry best practices and knowledge of legislative requirements.
  • Ensure HRIS data is up to date and accurate; recommend process improvements for the system.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentation throughout employment history for all employees.
  • Support/lead and implement various HR projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A post-secondary education in Human Resources or industrial relations.
  • 2+ years of human resources experience.
  • Health & Safety training, including Joint Health & Safety Committee education/experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development within the HR profession.
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation in Canada and Human Rights legislation.
  • Well-versed in many HR functional competencies and best practices.
  • Working knowledge in CNESST.
  • Creativity and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of change and ambiguity are critical.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent grammar, business letter, and report writing skills.
  • A clear and succinct communicator (verbal and written).
  • Ability to think proactively, critically, and independently to make good decisions.
  • Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • A team player who builds strong relationships based on trust and integrity.
  • A clear sense of urgency to achieve results. A 'can-do', 'let's make it happen' attitude.
  • Embrace continuous improvement by proposing new and/or better ways of doing things.
  • Excellent technical ability (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS).
  • Fluent in French and English.

This position requires you to be on-site Monday to Friday. #LI-Onsite
