Network Security Specialist

As a Network Security Specialist, you will be responsible for managing network security, overseeing ERP systems, and providing essential IT support across departments. This is a fully onsite and permanent position in Scarborough, ON.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in network troubleshooting, hardware support, and IT administration. They should have hands-on experience with ERP systems and SQL databases and relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA A+.
As a Network Security Specialist, you will be responsible for defining and managing access privileges, security roles, and user accounts. You will provide in-house technical support, handling network, hardware, and application issues. You will also administer systems security, including antivirus, firewalls, and VPNs, and maintain secure connections for remote workers.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.

Qualifications for this role include:
- 5+ years of experience in network troubleshooting, hardware support, and IT administration
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and SQL databases
- Relevant certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA A+
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a keen understanding of security protocols and communication systems
