We are a reputable home care provider seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Child Caregiver. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Development
    • Assume full responsibility for the daily care and well-being of children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and putting them to bed.
    • Plan and implement engaging activities to promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
    • Establish a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Household Management
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable living space.
    • Shop for food and household supplies, preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
    • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping
    • Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and support.
    • Keep accurate records of daily activities, health information, and any notable events.
  • Transportation and Errands
    • Transport children to and from school, appointments, and other activities.
    • Run errands as needed, such as picking up groceries or dropping off dry cleaning.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Organized and reliable individual with a strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a variable schedule of 30-40 hours per week. The work environment is a residential setting, and the successful candidate must be willing to relocate for this position.
