Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

Nest Investments is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for major repairs and maintenance
  • Conduct minor repairs on appliances and equipment
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Physically demanding role requiring repetitive tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Initiative and organized approach to work
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and organizations
  • Cultural competency and awareness training
