Truck Driver

Sangha Boys Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safe transportation.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, utilizing trip recorders and other tools to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, sitting, and weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Mileage Paid: Competitive mileage reimbursement.
- Permanent Employment: Full-time, permanent position with a regular schedule.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Hours of Work: 40 to 50 hours per week.
