About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Inc. as a key member of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Expert Clinical Advice: Advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions, and dosage of medications.
  • Dispense Medications: Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other healthcare professionals in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage Inventory: Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Advise on Non-Prescription Medications: Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medications.
  • Verify Prescriptions: Check prescriptions for proper dosage and ensure accuracy.
  • Compound Medications: Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring, and mixing the right quantities of drugs and other ingredients.
  • Lead and Coordinate: Supervise and coordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, and other staff members.
Supervision and Teamwork
  • Supervise a Team: Supervise and lead a team of 1 to 2 people.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Licensure: Hold licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
