Nurse Practitioner

At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Richmond Hospital.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care to critically ill clients
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of a recognized critical care nursing program or two years' recent, related critical care experience
- Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client/family-centered model of care
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and manage competing demands
