Project Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Manager to join our team on the Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations Project in downtown Toronto. This project is a key component of our presence in the Canadian market, and we are committed to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a quality management system that meets industry standards and project requirements.
  • Work closely with Construction Supervisors, Schedulers, and Planners to ensure thorough understanding of the project scope and schedule.
  • Produce high-quality work that meets requirements of plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Ensure work is performed to established technical requirements defined by project documentation.
  • Align quality control objectives with construction procedures to achieve product reliability and minimize cost.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters related to work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
  • Generate quality reports and metrics to track project progress.
  • Issue notice of non-conformances and stop-work orders, conferring with clients and quality personnel to document incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in Quality Management in civil construction.
  • ISO Lead Auditor qualification is a minimum requirement.
  • Certified as quality professionals from certifying bodies, with successful completion of an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training Course.
