  • You will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations and procedures, including ITEPTA, Pension regulations, WTR, and AWR.
  • You will also have experience working with payroll systems and software, such as IRIS Payroll Professional.
  • You will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and clients, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll inbox and respond to queries.
  • Prepare payroll imports and changes.
  • Review payroll data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and upload third-party reports.
  • Complete annual payroll tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong mathematics skills and ability to carry out manual payroll calculations.
  • Able to run manual payroll calculations, including tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions.
  • Able to process payroll from end to end, including year-end procedures.
  • Ability to use Excel, including formulas, v-look-ups, and pivot tables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ideal qualifications include a relevant payroll qualification or experience with IRIS Payroll Professional.
