Position Overview

As a Home Support Worker at Betty Gabay, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This temporary position requires dedication and compassion, ensuring that clients receive the personal care and support they need in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Provide bedside and personal care, assisting clients with bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and ensure clients adhere to their health regimens.
  • Physical Assistance: Support clients in mobility, including assistance in water activities and regular exercise.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and meal preparation, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Companionship: Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certificates are required.
Work Environment

This role involves working in a non-smoking environment, with optional live-in accommodation available. Candidates should be prepared for a physically demanding role that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
