Job Title: Business Systems Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Consultant to join our team at TECHVISTA CONSULTING. As a Business Systems Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confer with clients to identify requirements and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle, and conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work with repetitive tasks.
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and initiative.

Support for Indigenous People: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
