As a Director Investor Relations at Royal Bank of Canada, you will play a critical role in shaping the bank's financial performance narrative and driving strategic communications. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing messaging on RBC's financial performance and strategy, and in collaborating with internal partners to create best-in-class disclosures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive benchmarking and competitive analysis of global peers to inform RBC's financial performance and strategy.
  • Support research on key competitive themes and trends in an advisory capacity.
  • Collaborate with strategy and finance teams to develop industry-specific insights and drive quarterly reporting processes.
  • Develop and maintain databases to inform data-driven decision-making and recommendations.
  • Drive the development of messaging on RBC's financial performance and strategy, and collaborate with internal partners to create best-in-class disclosures.
  • Oversee disclosure matters and support enterprise projects, including annual rating agency reviews.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, strategy consulting, asset management, investment banking, corporate development, or corporate treasury.
  • Advanced knowledge and passion for the capital markets, economic drivers, and data analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner, highly organized, proactive, and committed to quality and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with comfort reviewing complex documentation.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with multiple and evolving demands.
