Shop Technician

We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician to join our Tanknology team at Englobe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair equipment, including low-level office and shop area maintenance
- Perform testing and repair of equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Interact with Measurement Canada officials to ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment, including national travel by land vehicle, air, and commercial ferry
- Manage and document government-certified devices, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manufacture shop aides and equipment as required, including shelving, storage units, and fixtures
- Perform general housekeeping and organization, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Previous mechanical experience required
- Valid Canadian driver's license required
- Welding experience an asset
- Knowledge of AC and DC electricity, as well as general logic level voltage practices, an asset
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
