Job Title: Security Concierge

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Concierge to join our team at FirstService Residential. As a Security Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents, ensuring their safety and security, and maintaining a positive community environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and services to residents as needed, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
  • Manage and screen messages, ensuring timely and effective communication with residents and staff.
  • Schedule access for authorized vendors to provide services within units, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ensure the safety and security of residents, property, and assets, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform routine property patrols, responding to emergencies and fire alarms, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and occurrences, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Follow all on-site procedures, policies, and protocols, ensuring compliance with FirstService Residential standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Security License
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for college-level courses in Business/Hospitality or Police/Security Foundations
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
