Join Our Logistics Team

Fortigo Freight Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled straight truck operator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for making daily deliveries and pickups in Ontario while adhering to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation regulations and be able to navigate complex routes in Ontario. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Pick up and deliver commodities across Ontario.
  2. Secure loads, load and unload products, and update the Fortigo app throughout the day.
  3. Maintain daily communication with dispatch regarding progress, issues, and resolution strategies.
  4. Operate a portable pump to deliver bulk products from 1000L totes.
  5. Deliver other commodities via tailgate of palletized product.

Requirements
  1. Clean abstracts and a criminal search required.
  2. Minimum 3 years of DZ driving experience.
  3. A 2015 or newer vehicle with a 26 ft straight truck and 5000 lb capacity tailgate.
  4. Trained on operating an electric pallet jack and certified.
  5. Ability to provide white glove service.
