Job Summary:

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping team, ensuring that our facilities are clean and well-maintained. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a clean and efficient housekeeping operation
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Coordinate inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any issues or concerns
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting expectations and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that the housekeeping team has what they need to do their job effectively
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 37.5 hour work week. The work site is a non-smoking apartment building, and public transportation is available. The work setting is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
