Corporate Counsel Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our ICBC Corporate Law Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our business remove barriers to innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements
  • Advising on a wide range of matters requiring creative legal solutions
  • Providing simple, straightforward, and knowledgeable legal advice
  • Helping the corporate law team with efficiency initiatives
  • Providing training to colleagues and business clients
  • Advising on legal developments and legislative changes
  • Advising on company policies

Requirements:

  • Experience as a commercial or technology solicitor at a top-tier law firm
  • Counsel III (6-13 years) or Counsel IV (13+ years) experience
  • Ability to work with multiple business groups on a wide range of legal issues
  • B/JD or equivalent, and an active membership at the Law Society of British Columbia
