Job Summary

Vardy Villa Limited is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in this field of employment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination
  • Excellent oral communication skills
