About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD/GTS Lead to join our team at NTT DATA North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining business solutions in SAP SD/GTS module, proposing and configuring business solutions, and providing functional expertise to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver end-to-end international projects, working closely with clients to understand their business requirements and implement solutions that meet their needs.
  • Implement new or maintain existing business solutions in SAP SD/GTS module, ensuring that they are configured and tested according to functional and technical requirements.
  • Propose, configure, document, and test business solutions in SAP SD module, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and are aligned with business goals.
  • Translate local business requirements into related configuration requirements and perform system setups in S/4 HANA to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide functional expertise, guidance, and instruction on SAP processes to clients, ensuring that they are able to use the system effectively.
  • Closely communicate with clients, building strong relationships and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Closely communicate with the development team, working together to leverage existing reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
  • Refine the SAP SD process scope for customers and configure the system accordingly.
  • Perform system demonstrations to showcase the SD functionality and identify any additional gaps or requirements.
  • Work with the development team to leverage existing reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows, refurbishing them for SAP use if applicable.
  • Identify customer security requirements and work with the Security team to create necessary security profiles.
  • Lead field mapping and data conversion activities for SD Material Master, Business Partner Data, and other Master Data records, performing mock loads as needed.
  • Perform demonstrations of the updated system, post-build activities to showcase the fully configured system.
  • Perform integration testing activities and support during the execution of user acceptance testing activities, resolving any issues in the SD space.
  • Train customers on the use of SD functionality in the SAP system.
  • Provide subject matter expert support during cutover and go-live activities, performing tasks assigned as part of the cutover plan and schedules.
  • Provide support post-go-live, working closely with the Security, Configuration, and Data Conversion Factories to resolve post-go-live issues.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA configuration and testing activities, specifically in Sales & Distribution (SD) OTC processes.
  • Proven experience in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Solid SAP ECC or S/4HANA SD Configuration and testing experience.
  • Experience working on GTS.
  • Experience working on Data Migration (Legacy to S/4 HANA).
  • Solid knowledge of system development methodology, project management, and system architecture, preferably involving the implementation of SAP ECC or S/4HANA, particularly Sales & Distribution processes.
  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective.
  • Strong influencing and excellent communication skills, able to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.
  • Strong client service attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000-$165,000, depending on relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. You may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on personal and/or company performance.
