Electrical Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead our mining team based in Brampton, Sudbury, North Bay, Thompson, St John, or Thunder Bay office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, project management, and leadership skills.

• Lead and supervise electrical designer level staff on all their responsibilities, including power, PLC automation, instrumentation, and control design.
• Verify designer's work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings.
• Apply EXP's risk management practices of electrical engineering to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
• Develop and implement effective work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
• Ten (10) years' experience in the mining industry with a strong focus on electrical design and project management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and guide electrical designer level staff.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to execute complex electrical designs under tight deadlines.
