Job Title: Caretaker, Building

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Caretaker to join our team at RealHomes Management Corporation. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our apartment/condominium complex and commercial building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements:
  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance an asset
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks
  • Dependability, flexibility, and initiative
