Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Lifemark, a leading provider of physiotherapy services in Canada. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our outpatient clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough analysis and clinical reasoning.
- Utilize electronic charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations.
- Delegate treatment to Registered Kinesiologists and/or Physiotherapy Assistants as needed.
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team at the clinic to ensure seamless patient care.
- Supervise Physiotherapy students, if preferred.
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders and client referral sources.
- Manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists.
- 1-2+ years' experience treating clients in an outpatient setting (strong asset).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
