About the RoleAs a Pediatric Nurse, you will work independently to provide nursing respite to children with complex care needs. You will support our clients to live at home with their families and attend school, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to children with medical needs in their home communities
- Work independently to assess and meet the unique needs of each client
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote client well-being and independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document client progress and provide regular updates to families and healthcare teams
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current registration with BCCNM
- Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
