About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Safety Officer to join our team at Northland Properties. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for employees and contractors on our construction sites.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a similar role and hold relevant certifications such as First Aid and CSTS. You will be expected to assist the manager in implementing safety programs, evaluate existing programs, and provide training to employees and contractors.

You will also be responsible for inspecting sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identifying potential hazards. Additionally, you will be required to plan and implement safety programs, conduct site inspections, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of safety programs
  • Evaluate and improve existing safety programs
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and near misses
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Relevant certifications such as First Aid and CSTS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment
