We are seeking a qualified Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor to join our team at SAIT Polytechnic. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching an 8-week program in electrical theory, code, and current residential and commercial trade practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality instruction to students
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school objectives
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Electrician and Master Electrician certification
  • Prior teaching experience in the electrical trades is an asset
  • Five years of field experience as a Journeyperson Electrician is preferred
  • A university degree would be an asset
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Fluent in English reading and vocabulary
  • Comfortable speaking to the public
  • Positive and respectful attitude
  • Basic level of proficiency working in Microsoft Office
