Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed.
- Assist dentists and hygienists with clinical procedures, including preparing instruments and materials, sterilizing equipment, and recording patient information.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain accurate records.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Record dental procedures performed on patients, including treatments, medications, and any complications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Registration with provincial or territorial authorities.
- Experience working in a dental office or related healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- A competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
