About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Elevator Maintenance and Operations Specialist to join our team at our Ottawa location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain elevator systems, including repair and troubleshooting of malfunctions
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Clean and maintain plant areas, including climbing stairs and ladders
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks, such as shoveling, vacuuming/sweeping, loading/unloading trucks and railcars
  • Work overtime up to 12 hours per day and weekends during harvest periods, as necessary

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and follow all safety procedures
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • Able to meet physical demands of the position, including prolonged standing, working in confined spaces and heights, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders
  • Will work overtime and weekends during harvest periods
  • Maintain a professional image at all times and exhibit a positive and respectful attitude
  • Provide own means of transportation to and from work

What We Offer:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
