Job Summary
Counsellor – Online Work

We are seeking a qualified Trauma Counselling Case Manager to join our team at 360°kids. As a member of our Clinical Services Department, you will provide short-term Trauma counselling support and case management for our clients, including at-risk youth and families.

For over 35 years, we have been delivering innovative support services that improve the lives of unhoused and marginalized youth and families in our community. Our unique continuum of care approach provides essential programs and services that promote the health and well-being of youth.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide short-term Trauma counselling support and case management for 360°kids' clients, including at-risk youth and families
- Conduct assessments and intake interviews with clients in various locations, including virtual platforms and low-income settings
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address client needs and goals
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other stakeholders to enhance community connections and access to resources
- Provide group presentations and education on gang intervention services or special interest topics to young adults, school professionals, and community groups
- Report on regular basis to Clinical Team Lead and Team Lead Gang Intervention Programs regarding issues of need and/or concern
- Facilitate community collaboration with key partners and build capacity for partnerships with diverse populations

Requirements
- Master's degree in social work or psychology
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with at-risk youth and/or street-involved individuals
- Experience working with Young Adults (18-30 yrs.) involved in gangs or gun activities would be an asset
- Clinical Trauma training and experience in individual and family assessment and treatment
- Strong personal ethics and integrity, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills
- Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with all levels of staff, the public, and clients
