Job Title: Housekeeping Staff

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff to join our team at Rain Day Spa Inc.

About the Job

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime. The successful candidate will be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a high level of cleanliness
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to prevent dust accumulation
  • Make beds and change sheets daily to provide a comfortable sleeping experience for our guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Stock linen closets to ensure adequate supplies
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain hygiene standards
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to prevent the spread of illness
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure guest property is accounted for
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items promptly
  • Provide basic information on facilities to guests and respond to their inquiries
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly to maintain a clean environment
  • Launder clothing and household linens to provide clean uniforms and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required to maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to provide a hygienic environment for guests
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The Housekeeping Staff will work independently in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • The position requires handling heavy loads and physically demanding activities such as bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, and walking
  • The ability to work extended periods without a break is necessary
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • The ability to train and adapt to new situations quickly
  • Fast-paced environment with physical demands
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Punctuality, reliability, and dependability
  • Able to work in a non-smoking environment
Salary and Benefits
