Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher and Kitchen Cleaner to join our team at Whole Foods Market. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen area, ensuring that all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares are washed, rinsed, and sanitized to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves.
  • Assist with kitchen deliveries, including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
  • Arrive on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
  • Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
  • Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Demonstrates a passion for cleanliness.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and Team Members.
  • Passion for natural foods and the mission of Whole Foods Market.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Benefits:
  • $17.50-$21.00 per hour salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Whole Benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan benefits, store discount, paid time off, and access to other benefit programs.
  • Potential base rate increase after 90 days of employment.
