Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and prepare blood and other specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Perform tests such as urine analysis and glucose monitoring using related equipment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Grade 12 and successful completion of a recognized Lab Assistant training program, plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
