Job Title: Registered Nurse - Geriatrics

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management. As a Registered Nurse - Geriatrics, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to our residents, including assessing their needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Conduct disease screening and provide immunizations as needed
  • Manage home care cases and provide consultative services
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the provincial or territorial authorities
  • Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Geriatric care experience an asset
