Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Vermilion Car&Truck Wash/Fas Gas. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Tasks: Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service.
  • Authorize Returns: Authorize the return of merchandise, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Establish Schedules: Establish work schedules for sales staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights for management.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
  • Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are easily accessible.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our retail store operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain attention to detail, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and stand for extended periods.
