Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Product / System Architect to join our team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing novel solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Your expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, and API design will be instrumental in shaping the future of our technology.
Key Responsibilities- Own the product and system architecture, working closely with management to define and align with the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with architects across NCR to design and implement innovative solutions.
- Define APIs that provide interoperability between various Voyix Banking Solutions and integration with customers and vendors.
- Articulate Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and architect the solution to meet these needs.
- Work with product owners and scrum teams to define solutions that meet or exceed market requirements.
- Manage and prioritize the architectural backlog.
- Participate in Program Increment and Sprint planning.
- Produce and maintain architectural artifacts, including diagrams and presentations.
- Review scrum team design and development to ensure alignment with architecture.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance to scrum team members.
- Develop architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability.
- Work with pre-sales and solution management teams to provide solution demonstrations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of leading architecture and designs for high-transaction processing systems.
- 3+ years of experience working with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes in public cloud environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
- Java, Spring Cloud development experience.
- Experience defining and maintaining APIs for consumption by customers.
- Experience designing and implementing micro-service architecture.
- Experience articulating NFRs and architecting the solution to meet them.
- Experience working in a scrum, agile project.
- Experience leading design of new projects.
- Experience evaluating, selecting, and coordinating technology choices.
- Experience working in a scaled Agile environment, such as SAFe.
- Certification in one or more cloud technologies.
- Knowledge with Cassandra, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
- Experience working with high-volume transaction systems.
- Experience developing software for financial institutions.
- Experience with compliance standards such as PCI and SOX.
